Pitfest 2026 will be the final outdoor edition.

Over the years Pitfest has grown into what it is today: two stages, two large tents and a full weekend of hardcore, punk and metal. Built from the ground up by a small group of people who simply wanted to create the kind of festival they were missing themselves.

But the reality behind it has changed.

The costs of organizing a festival like this keep rising, the pressure on a small volunteer team keeps increasing, and the festival landscape around us has become more crowded and more commercial every year. Pitfest has never been about profit, and we are not willing to turn it into something else just to keep up.

So instead of pushing it further, we’ve decided to stop this format while it still feels right.

That makes 2026 the last time Pitfest will take place as an outdoor festival. The last time with two tents, two stages and a full weekend like you’ve come to expect.

No watered-down version. No half measures. Just one final outdoor Pitfest, exactly how it should be.

If you’ve ever been part of it, you know what this weekend is about. If you haven’t, this is your moment.

In 2027 we will organize the much smaller final edition of Pitfest. More on that later.

For now, all focus on 2026.
